The Director, Creative Services will lead a team of interactive designers responsible for delivering highly effective online advertising campaigns and lifecycle marketing communications,and help drive user experience in the core eHarmony website. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

This includes display ads, acquisition emails, landing pages, member lifecycle emails, member on-site banner ads and video tutorials, assets for Facebook and other social media initiatives, etc. Primary focus is interactive creative, but may only include direct mail and print.
• Translate marketing objectives into creative strategies and lead a team of interactive designers in the production of advertising and marketing assets.
• Develop and sell a strategic vision for how a user experience should evolve as part of the company’s annual strategic planning process
• Continuously challenge the team to develop engaging, powerful creative that communicates the key messages to consumers and drives business results. Clearly define team priorities and manage resources across multiple projects.
• Inspire, lead and develop the members of the creative team. Actively manage and coach individuals: communicating clear priorities and required results, and providing consistent support and regular feedback to grow the creative team.
• Incorporate a metrics based approach to identifying key elements that improve responsiveness of campaigns. Continually integrate these learning’s into the creative develop process.
• Collaborate closely with marketing peers as a key strategic partner. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years total management experience with a minimum of 4 years experience as the ultimate owner of a Creative Services design team. Design/UI/UE experience a plus
• Outstanding creative development experience, especially in online advertising and customer lifecycle marketing communications. Must be well-versed in both interactive design and compelling copywriting. Agency experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to deliver high quality marketing creative.
• Outstanding ability to lead and motivate a creative team.
• A strategic marketer who understands customer lead generation strategies, selling through an extended sales cycle and retention strategies. Someone who can contribute to the development of those strategies and then translate them into compelling creative.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and have significant experience working cross functionally and working collaboratively with multiple teams.
