Huge Kicker, Masif tricks, Nice atmospehere and Easy riders that’s 12th Sony Ericsson Snowboard Fest!
Ski resort Park Snow Donovaly has experienced great snowboard show on Saturday. Fifty best riders from 9 countries of Europe came to encourage 1,500 fans who have created an unforgettable atmosphere. They managed to arouse professional riders; they were shown the tricks, what we can see here in Slovakia only once a year and this just because of the biggest and best snowboard snow - SONY ERICSSON SNOWBOARD FEST. The winner became 20 years old rider from Norway, Jorn Simen Aaboe.

Jorn Siemen Aaboe stole the show with the switch backside double cork 1080 mute nose bone and massive backside double backflip 180. Second came Slovenian rider Aljosa Krivec with the sweet frontside 10 indy and backside 1260 mute. Third rider was from Austria. Mario Wagner pulled frontside 10 melon and ended his show with the huge backside 7 double grab.

LAAX, Switzerland, March 3rd 2012 - World Champions Kelly Clark (USA) and Iouri Podladchikov win the Burton European Open, on yet another very warm and sunny day in LAAX and each get to take home the $15.000 first prize. Second in the women’s competition was American Gretchen Bleiler, followed by Yuki Furihata from Japan. In an exciting men’s final, Swiss Iouri Podladtchikov took the win with his second run with a 88.90 score, followed by Danny Davis (USA) and Japanese Ryo Aono.

On yet another sunny day in Laax, it was ladies first this morning, with Kelly Clark dominating the first run. With Gretchen Bleiler on her heels, Kelly improved her result in the second run, throwing a beautiful Frontside 900 Frontside grab to Backside 540, going into a massive Frontside 1080 and a Cab 720 Mute to finish it of.

Blue sky and a creative slopestyle setup welcomed some of the best riders on the TTR Tour to the TTR Nescafe Champs Open 2012 in Leysin, Switzerland. In the end it was TTR Slopestyle World Ranking leader Roope Tonteri who took home the win followed by Mathias Weissenbacher and Nuutti Niemela. On the womens side Swiss Isabel Derungs took the top spot with an impressive run which included a massive backside rodeo.
