Olympic Snowboarder Hannah Teter Wins Award

July23
Los Angeles, CA -- Olympic snowboarder Hannah Teter wins VH1's "Do Something” award for improving the lives of poor children around the world through her own charity and Children International.

The award is given to young people 25 years and younger for their commitment to social change. Teter, who supports seven impoverished children through Children International, has pledged even more support for the humanitarian organization by contributing 40 percent of the proceeds from the sales of her Sweet Cheeks Panties line to feeding malnourished children through Children International's feeding program.

Children International's President and CEO Jim Cook said, "Children International is grateful to Hannah Teter for her ongoing compassion for impoverished children around the world. Hannah is richly deserving of the VH1's recognition as a "Do Something” award recipient and we salute her for this achievement and her good work!”

With its long ski season lasting for 6 months, many travellers head to Norway to enjoy winter sports. The Izzicarhire.com office in Bergen Airport offers a huge choice great deals on car hire for travellers keen to explore the west coast. With a hire car from Izzicarhire.com visit Nidarosdomen, a magnificent medieval cathedral, that should not be missed. There are great opportunities for snowboarding and skiing in the Jotunheimen Mountains which also contain resorts catering for those looking for a more sedate holiday.
