WEB DEVELOPER
We are seeking an experienced Web Developer who will be responsible for implementing and maintaining web based applications in an agile and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be given requirements, and design mockups and create a plan, create deliverable estimations and execute on the plan to deliver high quality products.

Requirements
Five years of hands-on web development experience across all phases of the product lifecycle.
Must have experience in working in complex, high capacity websites using the following technologies: Linux, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, Java, PHP, and HTML4.
Familiarity with ssh, rsync and source control management.
Experience using development tools similar to Firebug, Google Chrome Web Developer tools, YSlow and proxies.
Experience leveraging open source JavaScript libraries such as YUI, JQuery, and Google Closure.

QA LEAD
This person will found the Quality Assurance team and maintain all aspect of testing for TweetUp’s systems. We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer who will be responsible for researching, designing, implementing, maintaining and executing test frameworks and scripts. The successful candidate will create and execute manual and automated test scripts, test plans and troubleshoot testing problems. Other responsibilities include working with the development team to develop test plans and test cases, and executing tests based on business documentation, and defect analysis.

Requirements
Five years of hands-on Quality Assurance testing experience across all phases of the product lifecycle
Must have experience in working in complex, high capacity websites using the following technologies: Linux, Java, Perl, JavaScript, CGI, HTTP, CSS, HTML, Apache/Apache API, RDMS, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc
Experience programming in Java.
Experience creating load tests, and unit tests.
Experience using tools similar to netstat, tcpdump, firebug, HTTP client side proxies, JUnit, JMock, TestNG, Jamelon, and Cactus
Experience in programming in one or more of the following languages: Shell, Perl, Python
Experience working on large systems with heavy data background
Strong technical background together with the ability to work closely and cooperatively with development staff.
Must be able to work on multiple projects and be able to multi-task when needed to complete QA tasks.

MARKETING MANAGER
There are two major parts to the marketing effort at TweetUp – understanding the performance of the company and its users within the context of the broader market, and driving adoption of TweetUp as a vehicle for serious tweeters to boost their following. As a result, there are two distinct aspects to the position.

First, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for keeping TweetUp's management, board and the team well informed on a wide range of market dynamics that affect our business, with particular attention to trends in technology (e.g., adoption of smartphones, tablets, etc.), mobile communications/applications and social media services and usage (particularly Twitter and other social media). In addition, he or she will be responsible for internal business metrics, keeping management informed on the company's performance along a wide range of dimensions, as well as customer metrics, with a focus on increases in followers resulting from use of the TweetUp network.

Second, the Marketing Manager will also be responsible for driving traffic to the TweetUp.com web site, where new users register, enter keywords and bid to be boosted in search results, and for driving downloads of Twidroyd, the company's Twitter client for Android devices.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business or technology required.
Marketing degrees preferred
MBA desirable
4+ years experience in business marketing for an online advertising agency, SEO services company or other Internet.centric business analytics, marketing or related service company
Thorough understanding of the mobile communications market including hardware/device and software/apps trends
Experience in marketing campaign design, execution and measurement
Marketing experience with websites, particularly with advertising networks and search engine optimization
Facility with Twitter and other social networks
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
Solid analytical, organizational and project management skills
