Position Summary:

We are looking for a rock star developer to assist in building out our control panel for our lead routing and optimization platform. The work will involve designing and implementing an interactive control panel fronting a real-time data feed. Guidance and direction will come from a Lead Architect, a Product Manager, and Business Owners, but the successful candidate will provide ownership and initiative. The platform routes advertising leads through customized templates to the optimal advertiser for each lead. It provides extensive data tracking and logging, and exposes that data via a REST/XML interface for consumption by the user interface. This interface also allows real-time monitoring and configuration of the routing control systems. The platform is written in Perl and runs on Apache on Linux, and in production will utilize a cloud platform like Amazon's EC2.

Tech requirements include:

• 5+ years experience developing UI interfaces with Real time reporting
• Experience consuming web services and APIs
• Well versed with JavaScript. Experience building JavaScript prototype, classes etc.
• Solid understanding of AJAX

• Knowledge of optimizing HTML, CSS and JS loading
• Deep understanding of one of the modern JavaScript libraries preferably JQuery, YUI, and Dojo

Job Description

You will be in charge of implementing the back-end of a very interactive web application from scratch. You will be working in small teams of 3-4 people and be reporting to a project manager. You will also be involved in designing the architecture of applications and communicating with the marketing department in order accommodate the business needs. You will be communicating with your team members in front-end development and you will have the opportunity to get feedback and ideas from other teams in the company.
