Ruby on Rails Engineer (Manhattan Beach)

Our stealth Startup is looking to hire a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer. A Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer is a leading member of our engineering team focused primarily on building new features into the product and optimizing the current system. This person will be involved not only in working individually but also helping others on the team build their back end competency. They will be heavily involved in technology strategy and system architecture and will be responsible for the implementation.

Our engineering environment is fast paced and very agile. We use a modified scrum framework for our project management on a 2-week sprint cycle. We are looking for a hard-working, energetic developer that can handle some of the chaos that comes with the speed we move. We need a quick decision maker that can see more than just the roots of the trees.

What you’ll do
– Help design and architect new features
– Argue about the right way to do things
– Work closely with others to help develop features
– Take ownership and help test, release and maintain the code you write
– Research new technologies that will help ybuy remain competitive
