SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST
Our client is a leader in e-commerce who is looking for a hard-working, highly- efficient Senior Business Analyst who has the technical skills and aptitude to help management make informed business solutions with their findings and analyses. The ideal candidate will not only complement the existing Analytical Team, but will be able to contribute a fresh, outside-the-box perspective that can help take the organization to new heights. We are looking for someone who has not only demonstrated a high level of proficiency in their current and past roles, but someone who is also versatile enough and willing to take on the multitude of challenges and projects that the site and the fashion industry has to offer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Establishing a solid understanding of the unique business issues and data challenges we face as an organization in this industry
Collaborating with management, programmers, and other analysts to develop a firm grasp and working knowledge of our key performance metrics, database systems, and table relationships and structures
Developing solutions and processes for organizational initiatives
Monitoring organizational as well as departmental goals while developing initiatives to not only help achieve, but to help exceed them
Managing and prioritizing a multitude of projects at once on an ongoing basis
Developing a methodology to explore issues, to extrapolate key findings, to develop processes to utilize the key findings, and to revisit the newly created processes in an effort to improve them
Data-mining large databases to help facilitate a multitude of business objectives and adhoc projects
Reconciling data, queries, and reports to validate the integrity of the numbers
Identifying areas for improvement and developing tools to streamline and improve existing reports and processes
Presenting key findings and solutions to upper management in a concise and well-organized manner
Mentoring less experienced members of the team
Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 to 5 years of quantitative analytical experience with a proven track record of achieving successful results from data-mining large databases
Solid Experience with designing and building spreadsheet models
Ability to demonstrate logical thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to articulate thoughts and findings both orally and in writing
Ability to develop strong, synergistic relationships with a multitude of teams and personnel.
Strong multitasking, prioritization, and organization skills
Strong work ethic to excel in a fast paced environment
Advanced knowledge and understanding of Excel
SQL experience a plus
Online Retail Experience preferred
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree required
