We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer who has software design and architecture experience. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience designing and developing software in a linux environment. Qualified candidates will also possess 2+ years of professional application development. Experience with initial board bring-up, bootloaders, kernel configuration and flash filesystems is a plus. Experience with kernel driver development is a plus as candidate may be asked to occasionally debug/patch vendor-supplied kernel drivers. Candidate must have ability to multi-task and adjust to changing requirements in a fast paced team environment. Also, candidate must have strong ability to solve unknown problems.


• 2+ years of Linux Development

• Required environment experience: C, C++, Linux, gcc, make, bash, svn

• Must have excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

• Strong communication skills

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent


• Experience with various architectures (Intel, ARM, ARC, etc.)

• Experience with bootloaders (U-boot, grub, etc.)

• Experience with Flash and Flash Filesystems

• Device driver development and integration

• Low-level hardware programming knowledge a plus

• Experience with Kernel debugging

• Knowledge of image processing techniques and algorithms
