Responsibilities
As a Test Engineer on the Cerner Etreby team, you will be responsible for creating and executing test cases that validate the quality of our solutions. In this role you are required not only to have application knowledge, but also system knowledge in how all components work together, technical knowledge to perform preliminary troubleshooting, and knowledge of a programming language. In this role you will work with Software Architects, Solution Designers, and Software Engineers throughout the testing process. The Test Engineer is primarily responsible for creating test cases for defects, new requirements and integration/regression with a client perspective. Test Engineer should be responsible to log and track defects. This role is highly focused on quality and attention to detail and communicating project status to certification leadership and engineering team members.

Minimum Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, IS, or Engineering
-Minimum 1 year of client/server application implementation experience
-Experience with systems management and operations for client/server applications
-Experience troubleshooting and proposing solutions to implementation problems for
distributed client/server systems
-Experience managing full cycle technology implementations of a large and complex nature
-Experience with automation tools and automation
-Ability to work overtime
-Ability to work irregular hours when needed
-Ability to learn and apply new technical skills and concepts quickly
-Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
-Background in healthcare, sciences, or information systems
