We are looking for independent web platform programmers to become part of our core team to help develop/build out our media aggregation and editing platform. The site is an upload platform for media content, an aggregation/submitting management system for this media to broadcast projects, a buying/selling/trading portal for media and a server sided editing platform. We are looking for talented PHP programmers to join the core team. We are located on the Westside of Los Angeles (Santa Monica) and highly prefer local programmers. Our clients include major media studios, top level musicians, televisions shows, etc.

Responsibilities:
* Join team that develops media buying/trading/creating platform
* Work closely with engineering team to scale / architect media aggregation and editing platform

Requirements:
* B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or Engineering
* 3+ years PHP4/PHP5
* 3+ years HTML / JavaScript
* MySQL (clustering / load balancing a plus)
* Links to online portfolio of systems built

Skills/Personal Characteristics:

Flash/ActionScript 3.0 Engineer

Job Description



We are currently seeking a Flash Engineer/Designer with excellent Flex and ActionScript 3.0 skills to design and develop an online community and gaming platform. This person would be responsible for helping develop the underlying game engine as well as work with the art to transform art concepts into reality. Optimally, this person would be a sports fan and/or gamer who is willing to come to the table with ideas to implement.


Responsibilities



• You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a large scale online web and gaming platform.
• You will work alongside the engineering team to design all technical API components from the ground-up.
• You will work closely with designers to develop the user interface and experience.
• You will participate in requirements gathering, specification, project planning.
• You will help define and document all software developed by the company.

Requirements



• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent (PhD a plus).
• 3+ years experience programming in Flash/ActionScript.
• Proven design and software architecture experience.
• Experience with Javascript, PHP, and other scripting languages a plus.
• Interest in games a plus.
• Interest in sports a plus.
