We are looking for an energetic Product Manager who is ready to create new products for the Web and Social Apps. User Experience Designer Needed for Lunch.com (El Segundo)

The UEX Designer will be responsible for developing UIs that embody our brand and provide our users with exceptional user experiences. The position reports to the VP of Product Development and works closely with product, marketing, and engineering teams to develop and implement interfaces for the website and applications. Candidate will bring our brand positioning & strategy to life by creating UIs and overseeing the graphic design elements. This is a hands on leadership role.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A formal education in Computer Science, Industrial Design, Computer Interface Design, Human Computer Interaction or Graphic Design.
• A minimum of 5+ year experience in web/interaction/interface design.
• Ability to integrate Web standards, usability principles and scalability into designs
• Experience with community websites, user tools, and large scale consumer websites.
• Proven track record and a passion for designing compelling, user experiences.
• Proven experience in creating production quality HTML and CSS. Basic JavaScript skills a plus.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects, good time management skills and a “go-get ‘em” attitude.
• Experience with international websites and audiences a plus .

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for user experience and UI design of the web site and Lunch.com applications
• Collaborate with Product managers to develop wireframes and interaction models for all new features
• Conceptualize and create intuitive, engaging, and brand-consistent user interfaces for web site and applications.
• Participate and collaborate in concept development and design ideation with the business team, and the web design team to help define an online creative strategy.
• Communicate and sell your UI solutions to senior management and teammates, including engineers, product managers, partners, etc.
• Provide design thought leadership to the company and work with Web Development and Engineering to bring new UI innovations to the internet.
• Lead user research and usability testing on a limited budget
• Manage internal design team to ensure adherence to usability and design standards
