One of the largest travel wholesalers in North America is seeking PHP / LAMP Web Developers to work at its headquarters in West LA, California. We distribute travel online worldwide.
Qualified applicants will work directly with an established team of young professionals, developing new web-based applications, updating and maintaining all existing web sites. The ideal candidates will have excellent coding / documentation skills and a solid understanding of the Linux OS as applied to Internet technologies. The ability to manage multiple projects, communicate clearly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Responsibilities:
• PHP programming of large, database-driven Web sites
• Program documentation and source code commenting
• Willingness to learn and apply new technologies as needed
• Work as part of a team with a diverse group of people
• Complete projects independently

Required Experience
• Computer Science or Engineering degree or Equivalent Experience. Recent Graduates accepted as well.
• At least 1 year of professional experience writing in the following:
o PHP
o Perl
o SQL
o HTML, JavaScript, CSS (must be able to code a functional web page using only a text editor)
• Solid working knowledge of:
o Web application architecture
o Object oriented design
o UNIX/LAMP

Preferred Experience
• Programming experience with any GDS (e.g. Amadeus, Galileo)
